It all started one steamy summer day when…

we were hiking the enchanted river pathway in downtown Wimberley and I asked Emiliana, “If you could have a kid’s magazine, what would you name it?”
“Kid-a-zine!” she near immediately replied, “like magazine, but kidazine.”
My mind started spinning. She is the queen of puns and riddles. What if we really did create a kid’s publication, by kids, for kids?

Thus the adventure began.

A delay in my email and domain hosting spurred the idea, what if we only accepted submissions via snail mail and avoided the pitfalls of tech altogether? Our children need a reason now more than ever to pick up a pen and paper and send and receive snail mail.

Currently accepting submissions for Kidazine “The Summer Issue” until June 30.
