Q: How much will I have to invest to get some great looking portraits?
A: Portrait sessions start at $150/hr and include an upload of the images to an on-line gallery for viewing and purchasing. Wedding photography packages start at $1500. Click on the "love + wedding" tab for more details!

 

A: We will upload the photos to collages.net, a password-protected photo gallery, within a week (7 days) of the shoot. Wedding photography varies.

 

A: We love to travel (and can't wait to shoot our destination wedding in Jamaica!)!! All costs incurred for traveling are based on our two-photographer packages-- the transportation and lodging for two individuals. Depending on the location, travel fees inside of the domestic US will not exceed $1,000 in addition to the package you purchase. A specific quote can be provided for travel outside of the domestic US.

 

A: I shoot everything in digital with Nikons, in RAW format. If you are interested to know more about the benefits to this, ask me! I recently converted to shooting in RAW and will never look back! (Every so often I'll bust out my 35mm for the purist in me. :)
 

A: It is understandable that unexpected events occur on the day of portraits! To prevent rescheduling, add an hour onto your "get-ready" time to preserve peace in the household. Please take into consideration our time as well as yours. If you are more than 30 minutes late to your session or do not show, a fee of $50 will be added to your total cost to reschedule. Thanks for understanding!

If it rains, unless you want a "wet" look in your photos, I would love to reschedule your session.

 

Q: What is your style?
A: It’s all about a good time! We’re fun, enthusiastic and create a laid back environment conducive to capturing the greatest moments! Just take a look for yourself. Under engagement and family sections we have a variety of images, also uder "love + weddings." We use the latest technology to provide modern and elegant photographs.

 

A: We love to travel and are excited to try any new locations for photo shoots. If it is already in San Antonio city-limits, count us in! Any drive more than 30 minutes from our starting point in north San Antonio will incur an additional travel fee. (I know a few breath-taking locations myself-- if you want to shoot at one of our suggested scenic areas, ask us about 'em!)

Q: I just want a cd of all of my pictures. Can you give me that?
A: Yes. High-res cds are priced per photo burned as jpgs, unless a cd already comes in your package. When you purchase high-res jpgs from inkedFingers you are purchasing the rights to the image and can print the pictures at will up to an 8x12.

Q: Can I purchase products with my pictures on them?
A: We have a wide variety of products we offer including gallery wrapped canvases, soft and hard-cover photo albums. We also love to create calendars, photo puzzles and cards. If you want something in particular we didn't mention— ask us! We'll see what we can do!

 

A: Whatever makes you feel most comfortable without being too distracting. Most families I have photographed try to match and I agree that the simpler the pattern/color of clothes, the more the viewer can concentrate on the expressions of your beautiful faces and incredible surroundings. For individual/couple portraits, whatever reflects your personality and makes you the happiest! The more meticulous you are in dress, the better the portraits will look.

 

The photographs turn out best if all of you are wearing either light OR dark clothing.

Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: As of October 2007 we accept cash, credit cards and checks. Payments should be made out to:

 inkedFingers Fotography. All credit card payments will incur an additional 3% charge of the total amount to cover our credit card fees.
